So with that same spirit and excitement, we present to you some of the most iconic on-screen apartments or houses that were once home to our favorite characters and celebrities.
The “Nightmare on Elm Street” House
Its spooky red eerie door made this LA home a perfect fit for the movie. The house might have looked a little rundown in the films, but it was sold for more than $2 million back in 2013.
The “Seinfeld” Apartment Building
During its heyday, Seinfeld was one of the most loved New York-based shows, but the irony is that the facade that was used to represent Jerry’s apartment was actually located in Los Angeles. Even today, you can witness the exterior of the apartment at 757 New Hampshire Boulevard, LA.
The “Wonder Years” House
The Arnolds’ house, located at 516 University Avenue in Burbank, California, will make you feel absolutely nostalgic because of its perfectly old-school American vibe. Interestingly enough, the property was sold in 1987, meaning it belongs to the same family who owned it while “Wonder Years” was being filmed.
The “Poltergeist” House
Producer Steven Spielberg hand-picked this house, located at 4264 Roxbury Street in Simi Valley, CA Simi Valley, because of its suburban look that perfectly matched the premise of the film.

The house from “Goonies,” located in Artoria, OR, was a popular attraction until the owner got frustrated from people trampling all over the property. Quite relatable!

The “Golden Girls” House
The cozy Miami house you saw in the legendary “Golden Girls” sitcom wasn’t actually situated in Miami. It was actually located at 245 N Saltair Avenue, Brentwood, CA.
The “Beetlejuice” House
The perfect representative of quirky and creepy, the “Beetlejuice” house was specifically built for the movie and demolished immediately after the shooting. The property was originally located in East Corinth, Vermont.
The “Munsters” House
Television’s most famous and well-known address, 1313 Mockingbird Lane, is an iconic location. The house was originally curated for the film “So Goes My Love” , but became even more famous later on as the “Munsters” mansion.
The “Twilight” House
The Cullen family house is located in Portland, Oregon, and is owned by a Nike employee. Built and completed in 2007, the house was constructed just in time for the “Twilight” movies to begin filming.
